My version of chocolate spread and banana toast uses dark rye bread, a vegan chocolate spread, ripe bananas, and a sprinkle of chia seeds. It's really that easy!

Ingredients

  • 2 rye bread slices (or your favorite bread)

  • 2 tablespoons chocolate spread

  • 1 ripe banana

  • 1 teaspoon chia seeds

Instructions

Prep the fruit

Peel and slice the banana into rounds.

Toast the bread

Toast the bread to your liking (I like my toast slightly brown and crunchy).

Assemble

When the bread is toasted, apply a layer of chocolate spread on each slice. Top with banana slices. Finally, sprinkle the chia seeds on top of the banana. Enjoy!
